Some statlines on items are really boring and I felt like theres a lack of statlines in general. Its not all that, but many of the legendary items are very uninspired in that way. Stuff like "Take 30% less damage from crowd controlled enemies" and etc. Legendary item effects are often very boring. so you really find yourself waiting on CDs or resources to come up really often. It makes the game really awkward because you often wait for CD while out of resources, and your free "basic" ability does barely no damage. You only have one "Spender" for your resources, the rest is all barred by CDs. Its essentially D3 system, but you choose which order of skills you unlock, but you can only chose between 2 runes instead of many, and said 2 runes have even less impact.

I found myself constantly needing gold or resources which imo is good because normally in ARPGs gold become completely irrelevant really quickly when it comes to merchants. From upgrading gear to getting random powerful drops, shops having actual good items, so on. Gold and Resources have usages and are quite valuable. The feedback for your abilities is good.Ī great plethora of side content that lets you level up while exploring and rewards you for doing them by giving you access to legendary modifiers you can slap as much as you want on any item for the cost of gold. You can knock enemies around, make them fall on their ass, etc. Much better ambiance and feeling of the game overall, feels more immersive and "scary".Ĭombat feels "Heavy" as in you often feel the impact of your blows. Return to the "Dark and Gritty" that diablo was known for. Many of those problem could be early game only, but since its all I can evaluate right now I will do so.
